If you are someone who has ever been described as eccentric, away with the fairies or simply odd – you’d find a kindred spirit in Luna. We can see the two of you drinking an infusion of Gurdyroots while reading your copies of The Quibbler (upside down of course) and discussing the important things in life – like the existence of the Crumple-Horned Snorkack and the best way to get rid of Wrackspurts.

If this sounds like you, then we believe that Gryffindor Quidditch Captain Oliver Wood is your perfect pal. There is no doubting Wood’s dedication (even if his teammates don’t appreciate practising at the crack of dawn) but it’s his sportsmanship and loyalty that really shines through. His commitment to his team, his house and his school is unwavering. If you’re someone who values loyalty, passion, and sport – then we think you two would click.

If you are into the finer things in life… you’d hang out with Draco Malfoy

Draco Malfoy is used to a certain opulent standard of living. His family home, Malfoy Manor, is a grand mansion and he doesn’t lower his standards, thank you very much. Draco is certainly confident that he is special and believes he deserves the very best. Whether it is the rare Hand of Glory or the best wizarding robes money can buy – he knows he’s worth it. Although we don't condone Draco's behaviour during school, you could be just the company that he needs (especially if you can show him how to enjoy life’s luxuries without letting it go to your head!).

If you are intent on making the world a better place… you’d hang out with Hermione Granger

Hermione Granger may be known for being the cleverest witch of her age, but she used that intelligence to make the wizarding world a better place. She freed the dragon from Gringotts bank (even though it was dangerous) because she knew it was the right thing to do. She played a crucial role in defeating Voldemort and never wavered in her commitment to the cause. In fact, that dedication to change led to her become Minister for Magic. If you’re someone who can’t let injustice and inequality lie, likes to sign petitions and always does what is right rather than what is easy – then Hermione would be a fan of yours. We can just imagine the two of you standing side by side, at a protest for Muggle-born rights, being a force for good in the world.

If you love a good gossip… you’d hang out with Ernie Macmillan

Do you feel a little thrill of excitement when you hear a new rumour? Or enjoy bonding over scandal with others? Then you would be friends with Ernie Macmillan. While he is kind, his pompous nature does mean that he has an unfortunate habit of believing everything he hears (like thinking Harry was the heir of Slytherin). Ernie could do with a friend who can help him sort fact from fiction and come to the right conclusions more quickly. If you know the difference between a harmless rumour and a damaging lie, then you would be an excellent influence on Ernie.

If you would like to find your place in the world… you’d hang out with Albus Potter

Sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the world when you are unsure of your place in it. Maybe you feel you are different to those around you and are not sure what direction your life is supposed to take. If this sounds like you, then Albus Potter would make a great friend. As a Slytherin in a family full of Gryffindors, it is no wonder Albus feels out of place. However, as time goes on, he learns to accept and even like the parts of him that make him a Slytherin (though it wasn’t easy to get to that point). Just like his friendship with Scorpius, we know that Albus would be loyal, patient, understanding and would help you discover who you really are.

If you are a bit of a klutz… you’d hang out with Neville Longbottom

If you’re someone that finds it difficult to walk in a straight line without tripping over your own feet, then you and Neville Longbottom will have a lot in common. Who can forget how Neville broke his wrist during his first ever flying lesson, left a trail of broken teacups in Divination or just the disaster that was any of his potion lessons? We are sure the clumsy Gryffindor would be thrilled to find an ally who understands that pain. Neville is also incredibly kind, resilient and an excellent friend. With someone like Neville on your team, you will always have someone to help get you back on your feet when you accidentally trip over a pile of broomsticks.

If you were the popular kid in school… you’d hang out with Cedric Diggory

Are you somebody that is never short of attention? Did everyone at school know your name? Were you never alone unless you wanted to be? Well, that sounds like Cedric Diggory – the heartthrob of Hogwarts, Triwizard Champion and Quidditch player extraordinaire. If you are also an all-rounder with a friendly demeanour and knack for getting people on side – we think you would get on with Cedric. We can just imagine the two of you turning heads and being stared at with expressions of awe and wonder wherever you go. We would certainly feel honoured if we were ever invited to come and hang out in the courtyard with the pair of you.
