The Bird-Conjuring Charm
A charm to conjure a flock of birds, Avis was used by Garrick Ollivander when he was testing the wands of the Triwizard Tournament champions. A complicated charm, when it was taught to sixth-year students at Hogwarts, only Hermione Granger was able to successfully conjure a bird. Hermione later went on to use the spell to conjure birds and then use the Oppugno spell to make them attack Ron Weasley when she spotted him getting close to fellow Gryffindor, Lavender Brown.
