A plant which produces green pulsating pods. These melon-sized lumps could be broken open to extract the tubers inside. The plant was the ongoing project for Harry and fellow sixth-years in their N.E.W.T. level Herbology classes with Sprout. Sprout was later seen using the plant as a weapon against Death Eaters during the Battle of Hogwarts.
