Willow wand wood
An unusual wand wood, willow wands had an intrinsic healing quality. Although many witches and wizards desired a willow wand for its attractive appearance and reputation for enhancing advanced magic, willow wands were more attracted to those with the greater potential. Ron Weasley's second wand (after he broke his first...) was made of willow.
