Thunderbird

The Thunderbird is a magnificent flying beast native to North America, and most commonly, the Arizona desert. With the ability to sense danger, and create powerful storms as it flies, they are impressive beasts. Newt Scamander even befriended one that he lovingly called Frank! Thunderbirds are known to change colour as they fly, their iridescent feathers reflecting the blues, golds, silvers and whites of a stormy sky. With their tail feathers making powerful wand cores, Thunderbirds are sadly vulnerable to poachers and traffickers.
