Swedish Short-Snout

With beautiful silvery-blue scales, the Swedish Short-Snout is sought after for the use of its skin in protective gloves and shields. Its powerful flame was also brilliant blue in colour and was hot enough to reduce wood and bone to ashes in seconds. Native to the wilds of Scandinavia, the Short-Snout rarely came into contact with humans, however, its agility and extremely hot fire meant it remained a dangerous creature and was certainly a challenge for Cedric Diggory when he came up against one in the Triwizard Tournament!
