Along with his friend, and fellow thug, Gregory Goyle, Crabbe was a devoted supporter of top Slytherin, Draco Malfoy. All three boys came from old wizarding families and it's perhaps no surprise that Crabbe's political leanings reflected those of his Death Eater father.
