Harry Potter's uncle and director of Grunnings drill manufacturing company, Vernon Dursley despised all things magical. He was the proud father of Dudley, a spoilt bully of a boy, and married to Petunia who hated the wizarding world even more than her husband. He very reluctantly agreed to have his nephew come and live with them when he was abandoned as a baby but made certain that young Harry never quite felt part of the family.
