Madam Irma Pince
Madam Irma Pince was the Hogwarts librarian. Unpopular with many students for her strict rules , she was particularly protective of the library's Restricted Section. Any whispering, laughing, running and eating was strictly forbidden and she was devastated to find writing in one of Harry's own textbooks which she considered an act of desecration.
