As it’s 1 September, the day Hogwarts students get sorted, we thought this an apt time to reveal we’ve given the Sorting Hat a makeover – it is a very old hat, after all.

Millions of you, all over the world, have discovered your Hogwarts house over the years, so now, we’re relaunching our Sorting Ceremony with a brand new look and feel.

We won’t give too much away right now (it’s far more fun to try it out yourself) but you can look forward to a beautiful new redesign of the experience online – and on our upcoming app (remember we said we’re making one of those?) it’ll be an even more immersive experience.
