We hope you’ve been practicing your Defence Against the Dark Arts skills, because darkness is about to descend once again on Warner Bros. Studio Tour London this September.

Starting 15th September to Sunday 5th November (that’s right, Hallowe’en season really isn’t that far away…) visitors to the Studio Tour will find the Harry Potter film sets once again adorned in Jack-o-Lanterns, cauldrons full of lollipops and, sorry to say it – but, troll snot.

Yes, it’s time to discover the darker side of the Wizarding World once again, as the Studio Tour experts take you behind-the-scenes of some of the murkier elements of the Harry Potter story, from the gloopy drool of Fluffy the three-headed dog, right up to Lord Voldemort and his menacing followers, the Death Eaters. And we’re not just talking props and costumes: visitors can expect dressed-up Death Eaters at the Tour, performing the wand choreography you remember from the films, as developed by wand choreographer extraordinaire, Paul Harris.

Voldemort’s symbol, the Dark Mark, will be scattered around too, inviting brave visitors to track them, with the help of the Studio Tour’s official passport, which can help you navigate all of the Tour’s quiddities and curiosities.

The return of the Studio Tour’s Dark Arts feature also means we are once again looking forward to new ‘Hogwarts After Dark’ events. On the 5th and 6th October 2023, fans can gather together to enjoy canapés and smoking dry ice cocktails, then be seated for a lavish 2-course feast between the sets within the Studio Tour. Just watch out though - the Death Eaters will once again be looming.
