With Back to Hogwarts on the horizon, you might be wondering how you can celebrate this iconic day if you’re unable to get to King’s Cross Station. Luckily for you, there are plenty of ways for everyone to get involved! We’ve put together a round-up of wizarding experiences that you can do to celebrate.

Harry Potter: Magic at Play Chicago

From exploring famous locations like the Great Hall to getting hands-on in Hogwarts classes, Harry Potter: Magic at Play in Chicago is a fantastic, family-friendly way to celebrate Back to Hogwarts. Why not take a picture with the Sorting Hat, play a game of Quidditch or even send a postcard home to the Muggles via Owl Post?

This year Magic at Play is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the day when young witches and wizards journey back to Hogwarts. Not only are they decorating with fun streamers and pennants but from the 31st August to the 1st September, there will be a complimentary bottle of Butterbeer for the first 500 or 1,000 guests each day (ticketed and non-ticketed).

And if that’s not enough you will be able to save 25% on Hogwarts™, Hogwarts™ Express and Harry Potter: Magic at Play specific merchandise on those days.

Finally, don’t forget to enter the special giveaway! Both ticketed and non-ticketed guests can enter the raffle and have the chance to win an item from the Magic at Play retail store. Pop your name into the cauldron, cross your fingers (and maybe have a quick sip of Felix Felicis!) and see if your name is the one a Magic at Play staff member pulls from the cauldron. With names being picked every hour there are plenty of opportunities to win.
