Feeling creative? Later this year, you’ll be able to buy a new range of Wizarding World LEGO products, including a new Hogwarts Great Hall set.

New Wizarding World-inspired LEGO is on the way. The new products will include building sets, Minifigures, LEGO BrickHeadz sets and all of your favourite Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts characters, from Hermione Granger to Newt Scamander.

The full ranges are still to be revealed, but we do know that there will be a LEGO Hogwarts Great Hall building set for the first time, based on the legendary room in Hogwarts where the students enjoy their feasts. The set will be available from 1 August.

Jill Wilfert, Vice President for licensing and entertainment for LEGO Group, said of the new products:

‘The Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts stories are perfectly suited to construction play, and our designers cannot wait for fans to see how the films are reimagined in our new collection of building sets and collectibles.’

Harry Potter LEGO first appeared back in 2001 to coincide with the launch of the first Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. These covered many iconic locations, such as the Forbidden Forest and Diagon Alley. In 2016, Harry Potter LEGO was transformed for our video game consoles with the launch of LEGO Dimensions. Albus Dumbledore also made a cheeky cameo appearance in The LEGO Movie (2014), sparring with another great LEGO wizard, Gandalf.

The new LEGO Harry Potter sets are an exciting new development, so be sure to watch out for more details in the second half of the year, when more sets will be announced. So that’s Christmas sorted already, then.
