As the production celebrates its first birthday onstage in Melbourne, it welcomes two new cast members.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will celebrate entering its second year at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre with a gala performance on 1 March 2020. The gala will see the production hit the expected milestone of a record-breaking 326,500 people attending performances, more than any stage play in Australian theatre history.

Excitingly, new cast members have joined the production, with two current cast members stepping into new roles. They begin performances next Wednesday, 26 February.

Let’s meet some of the new faces.

Also joining the 42-strong cast are Lucy Ansell, Hannah Frederickson, Helen Howard and Naomi Rukavina. Current cast members Gillian Cosgriff and Jessica Vickers are graduating into the roles of Delphi Diggory and Moaning Myrtle respectively.
