UPDATE: In light of new government guidelines, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter will temporarily close between 5th November - 2nd December.

On Saturday 14th November, the much-loved Hogwarts in the Snow feature will be returning to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London. And this year, fans can expect even more snow!

As is annual tradition, the famous model of Hogwarts castle will be immersed in ‘filmmaking snow’ for visitors to enjoy. The process for Hogwarts’ Christmassy makeover is described ‘like dusting sugar onto a cake’!

Other areas of the tour will also be treated to traditional festive touches, including Diagon Alley’s set for the first time. New for 2020, fans visiting the tour can expect the shopping district’s cobbled streets to be dusted with fake frost as they walk through for an extra Christmassy twist.

Once again, the Great Hall set will be dressed up like a Christmas dinner scene, complete with wreaths, garlands, and Christmas trees topped with witches on miniature broomsticks. There will even be magical flaming Christmas puddings on display, as seen in the films.

Magical cosy fireplaces (created by John Richardson and the films’ SFX team) will be ‘lit’ all across the Studio Tour, while the Gryffindor Common Room and Boys’ Dormitory will even feature handmade Christmas cards – some of which were made by the Harry Potter films’ cast during production.

Hogwarts in the Snow will run from Saturday 14th November to Sunday 17th January 2021 and all tickets must be pre-booked. For all details, visit the official website.
