The Australian production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are welcoming some new members to their company.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has celebrated many interpretations of beloved wizarding world characters over the years, and now, the Australian production is introducing fans to a few more!

The production, which recently returned to the Princess Theatre in Melbourne after several months of closure due to Covid-19 restrictions, will be welcoming the following performers to the Cursed Child family.

Green Room Award-winner Natasha Herbet joins the production as Dolores Umbridge, Torres Strait-Islander, former professional rugby league player and Wagadagam man Michael Bani will play Bane, NIDA and VCA graduate Aisha Aidara making her professional debut as Rose Granger-Weasely and Melbourne-based actor Ben Walter will take on one of the starring roles as Albus Potter.

Gabriella Barbagallo, Luke Clayson, Axel Duffy, Katie-Jean Harding, Matt Holly, Abdul Muhaimin, Harrison Riley, Tom Russel and David Spencer will also be joining the company.

The new cast members will join performances from Wednesday 26th May – so if you’re a ticket-holder, look out for them!
