Yes, coming 6th March, we’re once again giving you the opportunity to play quizzes where you can win valuable Hogwarts house points for wherever you hail from, be it Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Answer the questions, and watch our Hogwarts hourglasses merrily fill up with gems the more points you get.
This time, the theme is simple – the quizzes will be themed around the Hogwarts houses themselves! So, you’ll be earning points for your Hogwarts house by… answering questions about your Hogwarts house. Got it? Excellent.
On 6th March, we open up our first round, (keeping it nice and simple with some ‘house basics’) with three more rounds to follow – so you’ll have four opportunities to win points for your house, with ten questions per round. Some easy, some difficult, some a little bit devilish. Get the answers right and watch your house hourglass cheerfully fill up with gems, just like the ones in the Great Hall do. Now, far be it from us to stir up some competitive tension – however, Ravenclaw have won our last two championships… Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, you may need to step it up…
And if you need a little help, we’ll once again be launching little study packs in the official Harry Potter Fan Club app, to give you a heads up on the next quiz theme, and give you a chance to revise for your next exam – extreme Hermione energy, we know. Type in HOUSEBASICS to access your first revision pack at the end of this week.
And for the first time, we will have other ways to earn points beyond the quizzes. So don’t worry if you get any questions wrong even if you totally, definitely knew the answer. Keep an eye on our social channels to learn more.
Our new Quiz Championship comes about as we prepare to celebrate a whole month of Hogwarts house pride in March – where we’ll be thinking a little more deeply about Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, what the Hogwarts houses mean and the history of how they came to be.
