Learn how to feed and nurture magical creatures in this adorable video from Hogwarts Legacy.

In Hogwarts Legacy, you can engage in epic combat, take part in a sprawling, bewitching storyline and skill up with lessons. But today we’re in a wholesome mood – and we just want to potter about (no pun intended…) in a nice garden with some calming music please.

Indeed, Hogwarts Legacy (coming 10th February) caters to all types of gamers, thankfully, including the ‘cosy gamer’ – one who enjoys games that require growing crops, perhaps doing some casual farming, going fishing, etc. rather than anything too strenuous.

The Vivarium is a kind, green space inside the Room of Requirement where players can bring magical creatures to look after, and channel their inner Hagrids or Newt Scamanders.

In the video above, you’ll see many familiar magical beasts you’ve come across before – including a Kneazle, a Graphorn, a Niffler and a Mooncalf. You can even customise this space to your liking. Perhaps you’d like to decorate the area with some ruins, benches or pumpkins.

Your Vivarium includes all the tools you need to look after your magical creatures in the best way possible, including a beast feeder and a toybox – so your animals can feed as well as play! You’ll also be able to extract certain properties from your magical creatures to make potions out of. Or, if you fancy, you can simply go and stand by the lake and look out into the sunset as your magical creatures frolic peacefully.

We are already feeling very calm and de-stressed at the very thought of this feature.

Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled to launch worldwide for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on February 10, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One will launch on April 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 25.

You can still pre-order the game here.
