A word to the wise: you never ever need an excuse to have a Harry Potter movie marathon. We always support you. But this year, there is even more reason to re-watch our favourite films. Across the UK, the US, and beyond, here’s a little look at which Harry Potter films will be returning to the big screen in your territory.
Watch all the films on Max
Simply can't wait? You can sign up to Max and watch all the Harry Potter movies right now.
Check out the Cinemark screenings
Do you remember the electricity you felt seeing the final two Harry Potter films on the big screen all those moons ago? Or perhaps you never had the chance? Either way, you’ll be able to relive that magic, or experience it for the first time, with Cinemark, who will be screening the sensational Deathly Hallows two-parter across more than 250 of their theatres this September.
The films, which were originally released in 2010 and 2011 respectively, deliver the epic climax of the Harry Potter series, culminating with the shocking crescendo that was the Battle of Hogwarts.
Check the official Cinemark website or app to find out if your local theater is showing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2 this September!
Check out the Everyman screenings
Everyman will screen all eight films at Everyman King’s Cross (how fitting!) and select Harry Potter movies at their cinemas nationwide. Full disclosure: we are welling up just thinking about those soaring strings of Hedwig’s Theme...
Check out the ODEON screenings
Alternatively, ODEON will present Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets nationwide over the course of the 1st September weekend.
Well, firstly: g’day. Secondly: you can join in the fun at 15 locations of Village Cinemas across Victoria, Australia as they also host screenings of the final two Deathly Hallows films in the iconic series.
Further theatres and locations will be announced soon, including screenings in Barcelona and Madrid. We’ll keep peering into our tea leaves and will keep you posted on the future.
Via the magic of Muggle technology, you could quite simply binge-watch the Harry Potter films from the comfort of your home. In fact, here's a handy guide to tell you where the films are currently streaming in your territory. You’re welcome.
