The Disarming Charm
A charm that would disarm the opponent of their wand, this was a non-violent move that was popularly used in duels. Despite its simple form, the Disarming Charm could be extremely effective and when used at the right moment could end a hard worn battle. A favourite of Harry Potter, he preferred to disarm rather than inflict physical damage on some the witches and wizards he came up against and so the spell became somewhat of a signature move for the hero.
