A healing potion used to restore those who have been petrified or cursed, the Restorative Draught requires the use of mature Mandrakes in order to be effective. Used notably at Hogwarts to cure petrification after the Basilisk had been released from the Chamber of Secrets, the potion could not be administered until Professor Sprout's Mandrakes had reached the stage of adolescence.
