Wizard chess set
Wizard chess was played by the same rules as normal Muggle chess, however the magical game offered enchanted pieces that were directed into battle by the players and attacked with sometimes quite surprising violence. Having some familiarity with the set was preferable as the pieces weren’t always entirely compliant with new players and could argue back if they disagreed with an unwise move. Ron Weasley was known to be particularly good at this game.
