Gaunt's ring
This gold ring, inset with a black stone, was an heirloom of the House of Gaunt, passed through the male line until it reached Morfin Gaunt, an ancestor of Tom Riddle. When Tom (or Lord Voldemort, as he was later known) secured the ring, he transformed it into a Horcrux. However, the ring was far more important than first realised - this piece of jewellery held the legendary Resurrection Stone, one of the Deathly Hallows.
