As prohibition laws swept the US, making alcohol illegal, speakeasies popped up across America, underground venues selling alcohol and offering tired witches and wizards a place to let their hair down and use magic openly. The Blind Pig was a New York magical speakeasy, accessed through a painted make up advert and offering jazz, dancing and plenty to eat and drink.
