Firenze

A centaur that lived in the Forbidden Forest close to Hogwarts, Firenze was friendlier than the rest of his herd who were deeply suspicious of the wizarding community. Firenze found himself an outcast when he allowed Harry Potter to ride upon his back. In order to save him from the rest of the colony, Firenze was given a role as Professor of Divination at Hogwarts, where he could teach the students a little of his own understanding of Astrology and how to decipher the world through planetary movements.
