Fawkes
Phoenix
A male phoenix that belonged to Albus Dumbledore, Fawkes lived in the headmaster's office, occasionally combusting into flame and being reborn. This could be disconcerting to a guest (a very startled Harry Potter, for example, who caught Fawkes on "Burning Day") if they weren't expecting it. Fawkes was intelligent, kind and brave and could be relied upon to come to the aid of any student in need.
