Hermione Granger's beloved cat, Crookshanks was notably half-Kneazle - and seemed to share Hermione's impressive intelligence. With his lion-like features, ginger coat and talent for spotting those who are less than trustworthy, Crookshanks was a useful companion to Hermione and her friends, although his obsession with Ron's pet rat Scabbers did cause friction for a while.
