Cornelius Fudge was the Minister for Magic for six years, and was in office for several key wizarding events, such as the escape of Sirius Black from Azkaban, Harry Potter's disciplinary hearing, and perhaps most notably, the ascent of Lord Voldemort.
However, despite having the top job in the wizarding world, Fudge was often flustered in the role, and couldn't resist frequently asking for help from the man who turned the position down: Albus Dumbledore.
