Lumos, J.K. Rowling’s children’s charity, is launching an incredible new sweepstake that promises Harry Potter fans the trip of a lifetime.

Hold on to your broomsticks, because Lumos is making it possible for one winner and three friends to embark on the ultimate journey to experience the magic of the Wizarding World. It features a host of galleons-can’t-buy experiences in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orlando and London.

On the trip, the magical experiences will include: tickets to the opening night of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in San Francisco; a visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – the Making of Harry Potter; and entry to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. All the experiences promise VIP access, amazing seats (in the case of Cursed Child) and 4-star accommodation. Well you wouldn’t expect to be put up at the Leaky Cauldron, would you?

Not only that, the winner (yes, just the winner we’re afraid) will receive a personalized Hogwarts trunk and a copy of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child playscript signed by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne.

The winner and friends will also have the chance to meet Harry Potter film stars Bonnie Wright in Los Angeles and Warwick Davis in London.

Bonnie, a Lumos ambassador, says: ‘This really will be a once in a lifetime trip for one lucky Harry Potter fan, and the best part is that all donations will support Lumos do their fantastic work to help children around the world to find a family. I can’t wait to meet the lucky winner when they come to LA - so get entering today, and it could be you.’

The sweepstake runs from 3 October – 12 November 2019 and is open to UK and US residents only. Find out how to enter here. Good luck!
